Aqua Di Lara Swimwear for the Bella Donna

A Montreal treasure, designer Reyhan Sofraci must have had only one thing in mind while designing her swimwear line: make her ladies look as sexy and hot as possible on the beach.


Selling in Miami (the Queen of the scene), and in high-end European boutiques and her bikinis more luscious than the other.

The fabrics are great, the cuts are fantastic and enhance your features, and hide what needs to be not shown! They are utterly comfy but the reason we buy them is because hands down, they brand is seriously hot.

我眼中的巴黎
干净，孤绝，凄清，高傲，冷岸，空空落落的锐利、令人向往的距离感。
一切都是淡然的。

想起了莫奈的《塞纳河边》

有一种无须绽放，无须宣扬的美丽，轻描淡写。

却带着温柔娴雅，或稳重冷酷的气质，浸透意识。

稍布阴霾的冰冷，好似深夜中如水月光，淡淡的，安静的，却又无声的映出千年的悲欢离合怨缘因果。

有种孓然隔世事不关己的淡泊，仅仅是淡淡的色彩，有条不紊的推进。 

仿佛笔触轻移，空气中便漂浮了淡漠的色彩一片。徐缓，平和，却又背负着无可挽回的轮回，周而复始的悲剧，苍白执着的等待。

迷惘、失意、颓败、疑惑，都在夜色漂泊大雨的调和下变得如一场游戏一场梦，发生过，也就罢了。 

                 

If women no longer allowed to be simply beautiful and sexy, what then?

I was moved and inspired by a movie called ‘XXY’; The potential for this film to go very wrong was great. After all, hermaphroditism – more commonly referred to as intersexuality these days – is a subject that could easily end up being played for its ‘freak’ value. That XXY explores the issue carefully from the emotional viewpoint, without being exploitative makes it all the more remarkable when you consider that this is Lucía Puenzo’s directorial debut.

it makes me to think deeply about the relationship between femininity and power. So, if women no longer allowed to be simply beautiful and sexy, what then?


With this issue, I have looked at the history of women’s lingerie which point out: in 1960s, many believed the sexual bridges had been burned down for women, however of the 1990s, women want to be seductive and sexy once again but in a self-assured way. The woman has to have assimilated her femininity and dare to show it in a forceful way.

 I am going to find a new way for lingerie to celebrating women, to be both free and desirable, both liberated and powerful. Lingerie is not only about eroticism, it is a self-expression. 


 Women are no longer trying to please men or seek any confirmation of their beauty. I want to make women hold the looks and control themselves. We are strong, powerful and independent but still provocative.

My secondary inspiration comes from the basic shape of square and circle from modern architecture which I have started my initial idea to combine femininity with masculinity, mix the strong and modern structured silhouette with female curvy shape and these will be impacted on structured underwear.
